The second year of the U(R)TOPIAS Academy of Choreography ended with a 3-hour site specific performance in the city of Elefsina. From June 29 to July 2, 2023, U(R)TOPIAS in collaboration with 2023 Eleusis - European Capital of Culture presented Dance MyS+eries/Season 2, under the artistic curation of Patricia Apergi and Aerites Dance Company. Through a collective experiential event, their aim is to showcase the work of emerging choreographers on a wide scale and map a new path in the city of Elefsis.

In Dance MyS+eries the spectators become the initiators of a contemporary ritual that introduces us to the city of Elefsina through dance. They are divided into different episodes, each of them composing the work of each choreographer. Each work is a different station of the performance, which also highlights a hidden aspect of the city. The whole route is guided by the guide-hostess Demeter, as a reference to the honored goddess of the Eleusinian Mysteries. Between the stations, visual lighthouses are created, connecting thematically, in an open and poetic way, the works of the choreographers, thus completing the experiential journey through the space and time of Elefsina.
