VIDEO SERIES - Social DisDancing

The city is the stage; and the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus invites choreographer Patricia Apergi, along with her collaborators, to its empty streets. Yet another transportation/movement/commute (meta-kinisi / meta-movement) expressed through a series of short video-episodes aiming to document different parts of the area of Piraeus through the stories of different hero-people’s life during quarantine. Every story equals a small kinetic action; every movement equals a kinetic reaction. How do bodies stand in a deserted city? What are the stories they can tell in isolation? When will this stillness finally come to an end? We numbed ourselves to discover how much pain is caused by unmooring. So let's get moving!
