Vasiliki Syrma
Born in Athens. Completed her BA studies on Interior Architecture and Product Design at TEI of Athens and MA studies on Textiles at Goldsmiths University of London and Costume Design for Performance at London College of Fashion. Worked as a practitioner at the Royal National Theatre of London and at the National Opera of Greece. Since then she designs theatre costumes. Has worked as an assistant costume designer in Bob Wilson’s “Odyssey” (National Theatre of Greece, 2012). Since then she works as a costume designer at National Theatre of Greece, Big Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Small ancient theatre of Epidaurus, Theatro Technis, Stegi Grammaton kai Technon, Kakogiannis Foundation, Pallas Theatre etc. Directors and choreographers she has collaborated with: Katerina Evangelatos, Patricia Apergi (aerites dance company), Konstantinos Markoulakis, Lilly Meleme, Vasilis Mavrogeorghiou, Vangelis Theodoropoulos, Aris Biniaris and more. Films: “the sentimentalists” by N. Triantafyllidis 2014 and “Machi” by Elias Giannakakis 2024 TV series: “17 Klostes” by S.
