Roberto Fratini Serafide

Roberto Fratini Serafide is a dramaturg and dance theorician. He's professor of Dance Theory and Dramaturgy for the CSD (Institut del Teatre, Barcelona), and active as a dramaturg for different international companies in the field of contemporay dance and participatory theatre (Caterina Sagna, Roger Bernat, Philippe Saire, La Veronal/Marcos Morau, Sol Picó, Aerites/Patricia Apergi, Germana Civera, Wang/Ramírez, Olga Mesa between others). His works have been awarded the Prix de la Société des Auteurs, the Grand Prix de l'Association des Critiques de Danse, and the Prize Ciutat de Barcelona. He was awarded the 2013 prize FAD Sebastiá Gasch for the sum of his artistic and intellectual achievements. He regularly holds conferences, masterclasses and workshops in theatrical and academic institutions all over Europe (Bern Hochschule der Junst, UCL Louvain, UAB Barcelona, La Bellone Bruxelles, and others), and has been dramaturg and key-note speaker for the Moduldance European Platform. His articles and essays on dance and dramaturgy has appeared in Italian, French, Spanish and English. He's author of the books "A contracuento. La danza y las derivas del narrar" (2012), "El cuerpo incalculable" (2018), "Escrituras del silencio" (2019) and "Liturgie dell'impazienza" (2020).
