Ivi Riga

Ivi Riga was born and raised in Sparta. She studied chemical engineering in Athens until she started dance and focused on that. In 2019 she finished her dance studies in Berlin. There during her studies and until she moved back to Athens she worked as a dancer, a regular dance teacher, and created her two first choreographic pieces. As a dancer, she collaborated with Oxymoron Dance Company and has danced in dance pieces and videos of Joseph Tmim, Sagi Gross, Maya Carroll, Kim Puric among others. Her first theatre piece ‘’Ties’’ was shown at the uferstudios and participated at the alumni A.part Festival. She made the choreography and danced in the video project named “No raise’’ in collaboration with Yvonne Sembene, for a regional festival. Now she is finishing her first piece in Athens Called I.D.
