Born in Athens in 1981, he studied Economics at the University of Crete but his love for experimental cinema pushed him to the postgraduate program of the School of Fine Arts "Digital Forms of Art" from which he graduated. His interest is focused on non-narrative art forms and especially on the search for a cinematic language that manages to connect experimental cinema with narrative. In 2017 he participated as director of photography in the international competition section of the Thessaloniki Film Festival with the film "The Ox", by Giorgos Nikopoulos, a film that also won several international awards. For the last years he has been working as a professional videographer in theatre productions and music videos. He has worked with the National Opera, Michael Marmarinos, Efi Birba, Yannis Kakleas, Ioanna Portolou, Argyro Chiotis, Dimitris Karantzas, etc., for the production of commercials for theatrical and dance performances. At the same time, he has participated in film festivals and art exhibitions as a director and video artist.
