Evaggelia Therianou

Evaggelia Therianou is an architect and set designer based in Athens, Greece. Since 2011, she has worked as a set designer for private theaters in Athens, as well as for the National Theater of Greece, the Greek National Opera, the “Megaron” Athens Concert Hall, the National Theater of Northern Greece, and the Hellenic Festival. She has also participated in festivals abroad, including KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen in Hannover, Theatre de la Ville in Paris, and the Dublin Dance Festival. She has been the art director in two short films: “Beatitudes” and “Cruiser”, both directed by Aristotelis Maragkos. Additionally, since 2009, she has worked as an assistant set and costume designer in several theater shows in Greece and abroad, as well as the wardrobe coordinator at the Special Olympics 2011 opening and closing ceremonies in Athens.

Η Ευαγγελία Θεριανού γεννήθηκε και ζει στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε αρχιτεκτονική στο ΕΜΠ [2002-2008]. Από το 2011 ασχολείται επαγγελματικά με τη σκηνογραφία και τον σχεδιασμό εσωτερικών χώρων και αντικειμένων. Είναι σταθερή συνεργάτης του θεάτρου Πόρτα, ενώ έχει συνεργαστεί και με το Εθνικό Θέατρο, την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή, το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, το Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδος και το Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών & Επιδαύρου. Δουλειά της έχει παρουσιαστεί και σε φεστιβάλ στο Αννόβερο, στο Παρίσι και στο Δουβλίνο. Στον κινηματογράφο έχει σχεδιάσει τα σκηνικά για τις ταινίες μικρού μήκους του Αριστοτέλη Μαραγκού «Μακαρισμοί» και «Cruiser». Ακόμα, ως βοηθός σκηνογράφου-ενδυματολόγου έχει συμμετάσχει, από το 2009, σε αρκετές παραστάσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό καθώς και στις τελετές έναρξης και λήξης των Special Olympics 2011 στην Αθήνα.
