Eleni Vasilonikolou

She graduated from the professional dance school "Aktina" and is working on her thesis as a Mining and Metallurgy Engineering student at NTUA. She has participated as a dancer in collaboration with choreographers, namely; Vasso Giannakopoulou, Konstantina Efthimiadou, Fotini Stamatelopoulou, Kiki Baka, Sandra Grimma and Nikos Kalogerakis. She worked as a trainer and performer at the "Performance Art and Gender Equality" project in collaboration with Crossing Borders (Denmark) and UTH (Greece) in 2021. Furthermore, she participated at the10th Athens Video Dance Project (AVDP, 2020) and at the 2nd Danceschool ways (Duncan Dance Center, Alpha Theater, 2019) with her choreography “Time After Machine". Eleni has also taken part in the 8th AVDP (2018) with her choreography “CIRCUIT". Ostensively, she's attended seminars with Eldad Ben Sassoon (Batseva Dance Company), Ty Boomershine ( Lucinda Childs), Konstantina Efthimiadou (Akhram Khan), Jos Baker (Peeping Tom), Athanasia Kanellopoulou (Pina Bausch). Moreover, she attended the SNDO Intensive Course in the choreography department AHK; in choreography composition and movement research. Eleni is a member of the educational program "Skytali" (2020-) and the theatrical group "Parodos" (2016-). She's also active in the theatre field as a kinesiologist.
