Diamanto Hadjizacharia

Diamanto Hadjizacharia is a multidisciplinary artist that uses the (moving) body as a vessel for artistic  expression. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London as a contemporary dancer and from Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) as a choreographer. As a performer, she collaborated with the choreographers Hofesh Shechter, Hagit Yakira, James Finnemore and Catarina Carvalho (Wayne McGregor). Her artistic research is situated in the relationship between human and society in an attempt to understand how both work and influence each other. Her works have been featured in festivals in the UK (Resolution 2020), Cyprus (Cyprus Choreography Platform 2021, Summer Dance Festival 2020&2021) and Austria (New Faces New Dances 2021). Her latest work was mentored by Pavlos Kountouriotis.
