Christos Christopoulos

Christos Christopoulos is a production manager based in Athens, Greece. He holds a BA in Theatre Studies from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MSc in International Event & Festival Management from the Edinburgh Napier University. In 2019, Christos took part in the Atelier for Young Festival Managers organised by the Festival Academy, an initiative of the European Festivals Association. He has attended the seminar on Event Safety & Security by EventScotland, Scotland’s national agency for events. His education is completed by a series of seminars and workshops around arts and cultural management by the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Bocconi University, MoMa, etc. From 2014 to 2019, he worked as an assistant director of the renowned artist Lena Kitsopoulou presenting projects at Onassis Stegi, Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Art Theatre – Karolos Koun, Dimitria Festival, Onassis Cultural Center NY, Public Theater, Théâtre de Vidy, Théâtre St-Gervais etc. From 2019 to 2020, he was a member of the artistic team of Eleusis 2023 – European Capital of Culture focusing on the contemporary performing arts. During his collaboration with Eleusis 2023, he undertook the coordination of a series of artistic projects with established and emerging artists as well as the coordination of Synikismos Festival in 2019. Since May 2020, Christos is working at TooFarEast as a Creative Producer.
