KATERINA DELAKOURTA
Katerina Delakoura is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. She studied dance and choreography at HZT Berlin and P.A.R.T.S Bruxelles, and physics/astrophysics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She works both as a solo artist and in collaborative constellations with other artists such as Magdelena Meindl, Iro Grigoriadi, Aabshaar Wakhloo, and kalttak collective. Her latest choreographic research projects have been supported by the Duncan Dance Research Center in Athens, Ada Studio in Berlin, and LAFDK in Bremen. Her works have been presented in Ufestudios and Ada Studio in Berlin, Duncan Dance Research Center in Athens, Goethe Theater Bremen, and ASFA. She has collaborated with several artists including Georgia Paizi, Michael Klien, Dorota Michalak, Sunayana Shetty, Jan Rohwedder, Joe Tornabene, Anna Tzakou, arisandmartha, and Ingri Fiksdal as a performer and/or co-researcher on their projects. Since 2017, she has been organizing and facilitating educational activities for various age groups and backgrounds in Greece and Germany.
